Southern and Eastern parts of Zimbabwe

Cold and relatively moist winds from the south-southeast are expected to strengthen Monday evening, 07 July 2025 and strengthen further on Tuesday 08 July 2025, only to weaken by Wednesday 09 July 2025. This influx of cooler air into the country from the southeastern coast of Southern Africa should result in windy, cloudy, and cool conditions in Matabeleland South, Masvingo, and Manicaland Provinces, along with the southern part of the Midlands. Anticipate a temperature drop of up to 9°C in places. (e.g. From approximately 25°C to 16°C for some area) Other regions will see scattered clouds and cool conditions, accompanied by occasional light breezes. Evenings will feel quite chilly. A gradual warming trend is expected to begin Thursday 10 July 2025, as the winds subside.

Keep Warm. Ensure the elderly, the young children and persons of an ill disposition are kept warm. Those with respiratory illnesses should take precautionary measures in consultation with health practitioners.
