Moisture from the west is expected to be enhanced by moisture drifting into the southern parts of the country. This should result in rain and drizzle over Matabeleland South, Manicaland, Masvingo and Southern part of Midlands early on Wednesday morning, 05 November 2024. Afternoon localized heavy rains are expected in Bulawayo Metropolitan, central Midlands (Gweru and Kwekwe), Harare Metropolitan, Manicaland's Eastern Highlands and the southern parts of all Mashonaland Provinces. These should be coupled with lightning, thunder and windy conditions, as well as hailstones in a few places.

* When thunder roars it is best to be indoors * Do not drive in heavy rain when visibility is reduced. It is best to park in a safe place and wait for the rain to subside. * Do not handle any mechanical or electrical objects during a storm. * Avoid open trucks and tractors where you are exposed to lightning and hailstones. * Do not hide under a tree or stand next to a tall object. * Do not become the tallest object by standing in a open field. * Avoid being around livestock, such as cows and goats. * Avoid being near a river or large bodies of water.
