Meteorological Services Department Continues to Strengthens Aviation Weather Capability
Meteorological Services Department (MSD) of Zimbabwe today marked a significant milestone in the modernization of the country's aviation meteorological infrastructure following the reception of state-of-the-art Automatic Weather Observation Systems (AWOS) repairs and equipments destined for deployment at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport and Vic Falls International Airport.
The advanced systems, which will be installed in the coming weeks, represent a strategic investment in Zimbabwe's aviation weather capability, reinforcing the country's commitment to delivering accurate, reliable and real-time meteorological observations that underpin safe, efficient and resilient air transport operations.
