MSD Joins Ministry Team at Provincial Inter-Ministerial Sports Tournament

Meteorological Services Department (MSD) yesterday participated in the Provincial Inter-Ministerial Sports Tournament held at Oriel Boys High School in Harare as part of the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife team.

The Ministry fielded a unified team comprising staff from the Meteorological Services Department (MSD), the Forestry Commission, the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks), and the Ministry's Head Office. Competing under a single banner, the team took on counterparts from other Government ministries in a variety of sporting disciplines, including men's football, athletics, netball, volleyball, tug of war, darts, and chess.

Hosted by the Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, the tournament was aimed at promoting teamwork, employee wellness, and strengthening collaboration and camaraderie across Government institutions.

The event also provided a platform for public servants to build stronger working relationships while fostering unity, sportsmanship, and a shared commitment to excellence in public service.
