Zimparks Festive Season Launch Roadshow

The Meteorological Services Department, alongside other departments under the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife, took part in the ZIMPARKS Festive Season Launch Roadshow at Africa Unity Square in Harare. The event carried the theme “An adventure awaits in every park,” promoting the country’s tourist attractions while emphasizing their sustainable use. A performer drove the message home with the song “Iwe neni ndisu taparadza,” a reminder that the environmental damage we witness is largely a result of our own actions.

The strong turnout of young people stood out as a key positive, showing growing youth engagement in conservation and sustainability efforts. Banks and herbal clinics also participated, demonstrating how different sectors connect to and benefit from the environment we all share.
