Mostly clear skies and warm conditions prevailed across the country during the dekad under review. Mornings were characterized by cool to cold conditions; as a result, severe ground frost was recorded in areas such as Henderson (-4°C), while slight ground frost was observed in Chivhu, Marondera, Gweru, and Matopos. A southerly and south-easterly airflow dominated much of the country for most of the dekad. Evaporation rates remained below 50 mm across most of the country.
