The dekad under review began with partly cloudy conditions and isolated thundershowers in the northern provinces and eastern parts of the country, while the southern parts were mostly sunny and hot. Towards the end of the dekad, a high-pressure system over the southeast of the subcontinent brought windy, cold, and cloudy conditions with patchy drizzle over the southern provinces, namely Masvingo, Manicaland, the southern parts of the Midlands, and Matabeleland South.
