Mostly clear skies and cold morning conditions dominated across the country for the

dekad under review. Overnight clear skies led to low early morning temperatures,

causing slight to moderate ground frost in Gweru and Matopos. Afternoons were warm

across all regions. A southerly and south-easterly airflow dominated much of the

country for most of the dekad. Conditions remained favourable for vegetation growth

in most regions.
