However, during the second dekad, cloud bands originating from the west brought about substantial rainfall across the entire country. Most regions experienced precipitation exceeding 50mm within a 24-hour span. This wet spell was followed by an extended period of scant rainfall that persisted from the third ten-day period of October until the end of the second dekad of the month of December 2023.
