Briefly cloudy and mild morning conditions occurred in Manicaland and Masvingo Provinces with Chisengu recording light drizzle. This is due to the strengthening of relatively cooler winds from the Mozambique Channel, which is driving moisture into the south-eastern parts of the country. This field of moisture is moving westward towards Zimbabwe. The rest of the country began mostly clear and mild. However, as the day unfolded, it became partly cloudy and hot in all areas with afternoon isolated thundershowers in northern districts of Manicaland as well as parts of all Mashonaland Provinces.
