During the week under review, the western and southern parts of the country experienced thunderstorm activities and some areas received rainfall exceeding 50mm. Some of the highest recorded amounts were 80 mm in Victoria Falls, 91 mm in West Nicholson, 86 mm in Kezi, and 58 mm in Nyanga. The rainfall activities were mainly caused by a cloudy system that drifted from the west into the country
