Meteorological Services Department Analysis and Performance of the Drought Anticipatory Action System during the 2025-26 Rainy Seasonin Zimbabwe

This report evaluates the 2025/26 rainy season in Zimbabwe and assesses the performance of the "Ready, Set & Go!" Drought Anticipatory Action (AA) system across 12 monitored districts. It provides a climatological and agro-meteorological analysis of seasonal rainfall conditions and a technical evaluation of forecast skill and trigger performance, in support of the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) framework.
